Optimized software

The interface of Motion Grabber is intuitive and easy to use. With just a few hours’ learning you can achieve an excellent performance from the movement capture equipment. Furthermore, it is extremely easy to install and calibrate: the installation of the complete system in an animation studio can be done in less than an hour; the calibration of the equipment can be done in less than a minute.

Powerful and versatile

Motion Grabber optimizes the use of available space in a studio and its advanced tracking algorithms allow the user to generate large capture volumes with a reduced number of cameras. Motion Grabber enables the simultaneous capture of various characters. For instance, a six-camera configuration is sufficient to capture the movement of two actors at the same time in real time. Standard configurations include 6, 8 or 12 cameras but customized configurations are available with a higher number of cameras.

High-performance real-time streaming

Motion Grabber allows the user to visualize the actor’s movement on the screen in real time, and to combine this data with Motion Builder to animate characters in real time. The resulting movement curves are clean and in most cases do not need further processing or manual touch-up.
