El objetivo principal del proyecto eCardioSurf es el desarrollo de un sistema integral para el profesional sanitario y para el paciente y sus cuidadores. Por un lado, el sistema permitirá al profesional sanitario (cardiólogo) tener una visión general y ágil para el seguimiento del paciente con insuficiencia cardíaca (IC), con toda la información necesaria disponible, de manera integrada, visual y evolutiva, en momentos puntuales de mayor riesgo y a lo largo de las distintas fases de la enfermedad. Por otro lado, eCardioSurf permitirá al paciente y sus cuidadores tener un sistema de guiado ajustado a las necesidades personales de cada caso, de forma que además de proporcionar toda aquella información necesaria respecto al cuidado y hábitos saludables, también proporcionará un soporte para la toma de decisiones.

The main objective of the eCardioSurf project is the development of a comprehensive system for the health care professional and for the patient and their caregivers. On the one hand, the system will allow the health professional (cardiologist) to have a general and agile vision for the follow up of the patient with heart failure (HF), with all the necessary information available, in an integrated, visual and evolutionary way, in punctual moments of greater risk and throughout the different phases of the disease. On the other hand, eCardioSurf will allow the patient and their caregivers to have a guidance system adjusted to the personal needs of each case, so that besides providing all the necessary information regarding the care and healthy habits, it will also provide a support for decision making.
