The FRAGICARE project aims to design, develop and evaluate a technological platform for managing the fragility of people over 70 years of age who use the “Servicio de Ayuda a Domicilio” (SAD), which allows both to detect fragile or pre-fragile people and to prescribe activities to achieve healthy lifestyles, as well as to be able to control the performance of these activities. In the project, STT Systems will be responsible for developing a portable solution based on its STT-IWS IMU sensors for the instrumentation of the execution the Timed Up and Go test (TUG), which can be used by the SAD to: carry out an initial assessment at the home of elderly people to identify possible risk of fragility and thus activate the alert to primary care by Osakidetza, and subsequently be able to monitor the evolution of the person at their own home, evaluating the effect of the intervention planned by the medical services.
