The School of Physiotherapy at Escuelas Universitarias Gimbernat, on the Torrelavega campus, has begun using its new STT-IWS inertial sensors and the iSen system.

The iSen system employs STT-IWS inertial sensors, providing real-time angles, as well as angular velocities and accelerations. They communicate wirelessly via Wi-Fi, allowing data to be transferred to any computer running Windows. The iSen system consists of a variable number of inertial sensors along with software packages to analyse the results.
Inertial sensors and iSen are ideal for outdoor sessions, where fixed installations are not feasible, or in locations where occlusions present a challenge. STT Systems has provided the School of Physiotherapy at Escuelas Universitarias Gimbernat with a complete software package, including 3D visualisation and full-body real-time biomechanical analysis, as well as a wide range of biomechanical models and analytical tools.
In summary, the inertial sensors and the iSen system represent a versatile tool, applicable across various fields such as education, research, and clinical practice.
